Faisalabad Madrasa Tragedy: Seminary Teacher Arrested for Orchestrating Murder of 15-Year-Old Student After Serial Abuse
Detailed Report
-
The Grasp of the Investigation: A deeply disturbing murder investigation at a Faisalabad seminary has taken a completely new direction. Police officials have uncovered that a madrasa teacher, identified as Rafaqat Ali, was the actual mastermind behind the killing of a 15-year-old student, Shoaib. While initial reports on June 29 suggested that two fellow teenage students had executed the crime on their own volition and tried to pin the blame on their teacher, rigorous interrogation has exposed a dark conspiracy of serial sexual abuse and systemic coercion.
-
The Motive and The Crime: According to investigators from the Batala Colony police station, Rafaqat Ali was a habitual offender who had subjected multiple students at the seminary to ongoing sexual assault. When the victim, Shoaib, threatened to report the horrific abuse to his family, Rafaqat grew panicked. To silence the boy, the teacher manipulated and persuaded two other seminary students, Rehan and Irfan. During the execution of the crime, Irfan pinned the victim down and tied his legs while Rehan brutally strangled him to death. The three suspects then packed Shoaib's body into a gunny sack and dumped it inside a nearby municipal drain.

Escalating Legal Charges: The case was initially treated as a missing person report, with a kidnapping case registered by Shoaib's distraught family at the Batala Colony police station. Following the recovery of the body and the subsequent confessions, the police have formally added Section 302 (Premeditated Murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) to the First Information Report (FIR). Authorities have confirmed that all three suspects are in custody under physical remand, and investigations have been broadened to identify other children who may have fallen victim to Rafaqat's predatory behavior at the madrasa.
