Hamas Calls for Dialogue Amid Pakistan-Afghanistan Tensions

Hamas issued a statement expressing concern over the ongoing tensions between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban regime.

The statement called on both countries to adopt a patient and dialogue-based approach, prioritizing national interests and the protection of human lives over temporary differences. Hamas emphasized that what unites the people of Pakistan and Afghanistan is far more significant than current disputes.

“Hamas stresses that dialogue should be the path forward to establish peace, stability, and ensure the safety of civilians,” the statement read.

The organization also warned that the current situation in the region requires solidarity among Islamic countries, particularly as the Zionist state attempts to form new alliances following its actions in Gaza. Hamas called for greater cooperation within the Ummah to maintain unity and confront external challenges collectively.

The statement highlights a growing concern among regional actors that escalating tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan could undermine broader peace and stability in South Asia.
