Iranian President Masoud Peshmerga has outlined three conditions for a ceasefire with Israel and the United States amid the ongoing regional conflict. In a statement posted on social media, Peshmerga said that Iran’s constitutional rights must be recognized, compensation paid for war-related losses, and world powers must guarantee no future aggression against Iran.
Peshmerga emphasized that he had reiterated Iran’s commitment to regional peace in discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pakistan’s Prime Minister, underlining the role of diplomacy alongside Iran’s defensive stance.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards issued a stern warning, stating that if Iranian ports are attacked, they will respond by targeting ports of regional countries. “No country can escape this crisis. We do not trust the enemy and will not stop until victory is achieved,” a spokesperson said.
The Revolutionary Guards emphasized that Iranian attacks will continue and cautioned regional and international actors against interfering in the conflict.
Pentagon officials, speaking to the American newspaper, described sending warships to the Strait of Hormuz at this stage as extremely dangerous, reflecting concerns over escalating tensions in a critical global shipping corridor.
Analysts say Iran’s conditions reflect a mix of strategic, economic, and political demands while signaling that military pressure will continue if its core red lines are challenged.
