A Pakistani oil tanker has arrived at Karachi Port from Kuwait carrying approximately 80 million liters of diesel, marking a significant addition to the country’s energy supply.
According to reports, the shipment is part of ongoing energy imports aimed at meeting domestic fuel demand and ensuring stable petroleum reserves. The vessel completed its journey safely and was
received at the port under standard customs and safety procedures.
Officials said the imported diesel will help support Pakistan’s fuel requirements for transport, industry, and power generation. The arrival of such large consignments is considered important in maintaining
supply stability amid fluctuating global oil markets.
Authorities at Karachi Port have initiated the unloading process, which will be followed by distribution through the national oil supply chain.
The development highlights continued energy cooperation between Pakistan and Gulf countries, particularly Kuwait, which remains an important supplier of petroleum products to Pakistan.
