Details of the Accident

According to DSP Muhammad Yunus, the passenger coach was traveling from Kharan to Larkana. The vehicle reportedly veered out of control and overturned due to excessive speeding while navigating the M-8 highway.

Casualties and Injuries

The scale of the accident has left the local community in mourning:

  • Fatalities: Six individuals lost their lives instantly at the scene. A seventh victim succumbed to their injuries while receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

  • Injuries: The District Health Officer (DHO) confirmed that 22 other passengers were injured in the crash. Many of these survivors are reported to be in critical condition.

Emergency teams responded to the site to transport the deceased and the wounded to the nearest medical facilities. Authorities have reiterated warnings regarding speed limits on the motorway to prevent such devastating incidents.
