Fierce clashes erupted between Fitna-ul-Hindustan terrorists and Aman Lashkar forces in the Barkhan and Dera Bugti border areas of Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of four terrorists, according to sources familiar with the situation.
The Aman Lashkar, led by Mir Aftab Bugti and Haji Khan Muhammad Bugti — brothers of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti — responded swiftly upon receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists affiliated with Fitna-ul-Hindustan near the Barkhan-Dera Bugti border.
The tribal lashkar, along with Levies personnel, pursued and surrounded the terrorists, leading to intense clashes that have been ongoing since Friday morning. Four terrorists were killed during the confrontation, and two others were injured and taken into custody.
Weapons were recovered from the slain terrorists, whose bodies remain in the custody of the tribal lashkar. In accordance with Balochi traditions, the bodies will be handed over to their heirs after proper identification.
Sources noted an increase in terrorist movement coinciding with Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti’s visit to his native area in Bekar. The Aman Lashkar and local administration have reinforced their efforts to curb terrorist activities in the region.
As of the latest reports, intermittent clashes continue, with the tribal lashkar maintaining tight control to prevent further terrorist incursions.
