The Islamic Republic of Iran has reaffirmed its stance of never admitting defeat amid the ongoing conflict with United States and Israel. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai stated that no external pressure can force Iran to surrender, asserting that the US and Israeli actions are violations of international law.
Baghai condemned the attacks on Iran, saying there is no justification for the military strikes and that such actions threaten global peace and security. He further accused the US of historically undermining free trade and acting as a rebellious power that consistently disregards international law.
“The current war was not started by Iran, but by the United States and Israel,” Baghai emphasized, reiterating Iran’s position that it is defending itself against aggression.
The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions, as Iran continues military operations in response to ongoing US-Israeli strikes. Analysts suggest that Iran’s firm rhetoric signals a commitment to resist external pressures while seeking to consolidate its strategic position in the region.
