The Pakistan Army has carried out decisive counter-operations against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij along the Pak-Afghan border as part of Operation Ghazb al-Haqq, security sources confirmed.
The operations focused on Afghan Taliban posts in the Bajaur sector, which were targeted using guided missiles and other tactical measures. According to the sources, several foreign militants were killed during these strikes, while the remaining insurgents managed to escape.
In the Kurram sector, the army also destroyed key hideouts of both the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij. The sources stated that the operation has been “vigorous” and emphasized that multiple enemy posts were completely neutralized.
Operation Ghazb al-Haqq is ongoing, with security officials stressing that operations will continue until all objectives are fully achieved. The campaign aims to eliminate insurgent sanctuaries along the border and disrupt cross-border militant activity, ensuring enhanced security in the Kurram and Bajaur regions.
