Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the recent missile and drone attacks on civilian infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), terming them unacceptable and dangerous for regional peace.
In his statement, the premier expressed full solidarity with the leadership and people of the UAE, calling them Pakistan’s “brotherly nation.” He emphasized that attacks on civilian facilities are a violation of international norms and must be condemned by the global community.
The condemnation came after a series of strikes targeted key installations in the UAE, including energy facilities, causing damage and injuries to civilians. Reports indicate that the attacks are part of the ongoing escalation in the Middle East, particularly linked to the wider conflict involving Iran and the United States.
Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed the urgent need to uphold the ceasefire and avoid further escalation, warning that continued aggression could destabilize the entire region. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and diplomacy, urging all parties to resolve their differences through dialogue.
He also assured that Pakistan stands firmly with the UAE during this difficult time and supports efforts aimed at restoring stability and security in the region.
