Qasim Khan Urges International Intervention to Visit Imran Khan in Solitary Confinement

Qasim Khan, son of PTI founder Imran Khan, appealed on social media for international attention to his father’s deteriorating health and prolonged solitary confinement.

In a statement posted on X, Qasim Khan said he and his brother want to return to Pakistan to meet their father, who has now been in solitary confinement for 914 days. He alleged that Imran Khan is being denied access to independent medical facilities and that the government has deliberately stalled visa applications for his family.

“International human rights organizations and governments should raise their voices on this issue,” Qasim Khan wrote, calling for intervention to ensure his father’s health and well-being are not compromised.

The statement highlights growing concern over Imran Khan’s conditions in confinement and adds to ongoing debates about the treatment of political leaders and human rights protections in Pakistan.
