Heavy Rain and Strong Winds Lash Karachi, Multiple Areas Affected

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds has begun to affect several areas of Karachi, including North Nazimabad, North Karachi, Surjani, FB Area, Saddar, and Clifton, meteorological sources confirmed.

Residents reported sudden downpours along with gusty winds causing temporary waterlogging on some roads and disruptions to traffic. Authorities have urged people to exercise caution while traveling and avoid low-lying areas prone to flooding.

Meteorologists have warned that the rain could continue intermittently throughout the day, and city officials are monitoring the situation to ensure public safety.

“Citizens are advised to follow weather updates and avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rain spells,” a city official said.
