Climate
Hot and humid weather conditions are expected to continue in Karachi, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), although the temperature is likely to remain slightly below the 40°C mark.
As per the latest forecast, the city will continue to experience hot weather with maximum temperatures ranging between 35°C and 39°C over the next few days. The PMD has predicted that similar weather patterns will persist, with strong sunlight and high humidity making conditions uncomfortable for residents.
Officials noted that while temperatures may remain intense, they are not expected to cross the extreme heat threshold of 40°C in the immediate forecast period. However, heat and humidity combined may still create “feels-like” conditions that are significantly higher than actual readings.
Karachi, which regularly experiences hot and humid conditions during pre-monsoon months, is likely to see continued warm weather, with occasional relief depending on wind patterns and sea breeze activity.
Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures, especially during peak daytime hours, to avoid heat-related health issues.
