PDMA Issues Alert for Dust Storms in Upper Sindh on May 2–3

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued a weather advisory warning of dust storms expected to hit upper parts of Sindh on May 2 and 3.

According to officials, strong winds and dust storms are likely to affect several districts, potentially disrupting daily life and reducing visibility on roads. The advisory comes as part of precautionary measures to minimize risks to citizens during adverse weather conditions.

PDMA has directed local administrations and relevant departments to remain alert and ensure necessary arrangements are in place to handle any emergency situation. Authorities have been asked to stay prepared for possible power outages, road blockages, and other weather-related issues.
