Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian made the remarks during a regular press briefing on Tuesday, expressing condolences to the families of the victims and the injured. “We mourn for the lives lost, and our hearts go out to the injured and those who lost their loved ones,” he said. “China firmly opposes any form of terrorism and will, as always, firmly support Pakistan in combatting terrorism, maintaining solidarity and social stability, and protecting the safety of the people.”

The Chinese embassy in Pakistan also condemned the attacks, posting on X that it “deeply mourns for the lives lost and extends sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured.”

The large-scale attacks last week left 15 security personnel and 18 civilians dead, while security forces killed 92 terrorists, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The assailants, linked to Indian-sponsored Fitna al Hindustan, targeted multiple locations across Balochistan, including Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar, and Pasni.

The attacks involved assaults on police stations, banks, government offices, and private residences. In Mastung, attackers burned the police station and freed 30 prisoners from the district jail. In Kharan, six security guards and the chairman of Mullazai Qaumi Etihad were killed. Similar attacks were reported in Kalat and Tump, targeting government institutions, banks, and local officials.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi attributed the attacks to India, alleging that it provided financial and strategic support to the terrorists. Several other countries, including the United States, the European Union, and Iran, have also condemned the attacks.

The violence has raised serious concerns over regional security, highlighting the ongoing threat posed by terrorist networks in Balochistan and the importance of international support in Pakistan’s counterterrorism efforts.
