Former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, currently imprisoned at Adiala Jail, was allowed to speak to his sons, Qasim and Suleman, over the phone following court directives.
According to sources, the conversation took place yesterday, though further details regarding the exchange have not been disclosed.
A federal minister confirmed that Imran Khan’s sons had been granted permission to speak with their father. Jail authorities also issued a statement confirming that the telephonic conversation was facilitated on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Officials stated that the PTI founder spoke to his children for more than 30 minutes.
Imran Khan’s sons, Qasim and Suleman, currently reside in London. The development comes amid ongoing legal proceedings involving the former prime minister.
